[FIRST NAME GOES HERE] I found golf then this happened

CLARITY LED ME TO GOLF, WHICH LED TO...

Hi There!

So there I was on a beautiful Saturday morning. The sun shining, people laughing as they walked by, and me sitting at my desk typing on my computer.

‘ding, ding’ my phone squeaked, as another text came through, ‘hmm is that my friend Lisa? ' I thought as I picked up the phone to check the text, no, it was “Duke Energy” reminding me my bill was coming up due.

“Oh yea let me go ahead and pay that energy bill,” I thought as I sat there. Then, out of the blue, I just started laughing. I was laughing because I was thinking, here I am focused on working on business and paying bills, while everyone else is enjoying this beautiful Saturday…AS THEY SHOULD!

Then I thought to myself All I do is work and pay bills…

And I sat with that thought, because I do love my career. I genuinely do. But in that moment, I realized my whole life had gotten so small. So routine. So... flat.

I knew I needed something to disrupt it. I just didn't know what.

So I did what I teach my clients to do. I grabbed a piece of paper, and I started writing. Tiffiny, what do you need right now? What would bring you joy? What can you do outside of work that is actually fun and gives you energy?

My brain went through a list. Yoga? been doing that. Indoor rock climbing? Love it, but the nearest place is too far. And then out of nowhere, golf popped in my mind.

I had to laugh, I've played putt-putt. That's the full extent of my golf experience. But I wrote it down. And then I opened my laptop and typed one word: GOLF.

I found a course near me and a pro who teaches beginners. A week later, I got a message about a hotel selling off golf clubs for next to nothing, which I quickly jumped on.

THEN.... I found a women’s golf group online and joined!

Women who owned businesses. Women in corporate leadership, high-achieving, driven women who also just wanted a hobby and some community.

I walked into golf for something to look forward to on a Saturday. I walked out with a whole new professional network. Women I now do business with and have a community with.

All of that started with one question on a piece of paper.

Tiffiny, what do you need?

That is the clarity work. It is how I build the foundation with my one-on-one coaching clients. And it is exactly what I do together every single Wednesday in my group workshop: Stuck, Overworked and Overwhelmed: Get Clear on What You Want in Work & Life.

If you've been going through the motions, feeling drained, successful on paper, but something quietly feels missing, that feeling is not something to push through. It's a signal, and I would love to help you listen to it.

We meet every Wednesday at 7 pm, and in 90 minutes, we work through the six areas of work and life that most high-achieving women have never stopped to get honest about.

Pick a Wednesday that works for you at this link here.

YOU PLANNED FOR SUCCESS, BUT DID YOU PLAN TO FEEL ALIVE? Hey Gorgeous, A few weeks ago, I was scrolling back through my camera roll from 2025, and I was smiling because it was a really good year. I hit or came really close to every goal I wrote down. The money. The speaking engagements. All of it. But the pictures that made me smile the most? They weren't on that list. They were the things I did spontaneously. The plane ticket I bought at the last minute. No plan. I just went. Those were the...

IT'S A SIMPLE QUESTION, BUT IT'S NOT AN EASY ONE Hey Gorgeous, I was walking through the park today. Birds chirping overhead, water running in the stream nearby, people out on the trails enjoying the morning. It's still warm where I live, but I noticed the leaves starting to fall on the ground. It reminded me that…Fall is coming. And I thought about something I told a friend not long ago. The seasons are one of the few things in life you can actually count on. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...

put your oxygen mask on first

THE TIME I ALMOST DIED IN A PLANE CRASH AND WHAT IT TAUGHT ME ABOUT LIVING Hello! So there I was on a work trip, going from Montana to Chicago. The plane had been in the air about thirty minutes when I started to smell smoke. Then all of a sudden the plane was shaking, and our oxygen masks came down from the ceiling. The flight attendant got on the speaker: "Everyone, please put your oxygen mask on now. Be sure to secure your own mask before assisting others." I thought I was going to die....
